Openspace and Stripe are excited to release our report, Reaping the Regional Dividend: The Southeast Asia Coalesce Index.
Southeast Asia is often referred to in the singular, but to do so belies the true complexity, contexts and intent of a region made up of diverse nations with varying agendas.
For the first time, this report assesses the extent to which, over the past 5 years, the region has grown closer. We do that through investigating 5 Flows, which we identified as being most key to driving coalescence. They are Investments, Trade, Political, Cultural and Talent. It concludes with the Coalesce Score for 2022.
Technology has the power to transcend – and sits at the core of the various flows bringing the region closer together.
