Richard was previously a consultant at KPMG, where he gained deep expertise across a broad range of industries, including finance, construction, nickel processing, mining, electricity supply, green energy, and more, advising both state-owned enterprises and public/private corporations. He also played a key role on the corporate development team of a holding company specializing in veterinary consolidation in Canada.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia's Sauder School of Business.
